The Protheroe Trophy brought together an exceptional grid of Pre-63 E-Types, racing into the dusk on Saturday evening. Many thanks to Goodwood for a superb event, and to @blakeneymotorsport for preparing the E-type.

From Motor Show display car to Le Mans class winner, this remarkable AC Ace-Bristol was privately entered and prepared by Ken Rudd for the 1959 24 Hours of Le Mans, where it finished an outstanding 7th overall against factory competition.
Retained within the same family for over sixty years and accompanied by an extensive history file, this historic Ace-Bristol stands as a rare surviving example of the great British privateer endurance racers of the 1950s.
